Why is #day21 important?

The World Health Organisation and Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists recommend a gap of 18-24 months between pregnancies.

This supports healing, nutrient recovery, and bonding with the newborn.

97% of new mums do not want to fall pregnant again within 12 months of childbirth.

Yet 1 in 13 new mothers DO fall pregnant within 12 months of childbirth.

Pregnancy gaps of less than 12 months are associated with poorer outcomes for both mother and baby - including preterm births and low birth weights.

Access to postnatal contraception services is a postcode lottery across the UK.

We aim to support informed choice and autonomy, by raising awareness of the basics and pushing for fair access to postnatal contraception services for all.

Know your options. Make informed choices.

Your body, your decisions, your timeline.
